Every relationship encounters difficulties and often guidance from an expert can greatly benefit the couple facing dilemmas and challenges.
Through therapy, the couple can learn constructive ways to express their feelings, needs and concerns through understanding and connection. Therapy can also provide a safe and neutral environment where the couple can talk about contentious issues and learn skills to rebuild trust. Within the framework of counseling and therapy, the opportunity can be offered for the couple to rediscover the emotional intimacy they may have lost and to re-remember the elements and desires that brought these two people together.
The therapy recognizes the whole system within which the couple operates as well as the one the couple has built, with all the characteristics, influences and challenges it brings to the relationship. Through this understanding, whether there are external or internal factors that make the relationship difficult, the couple gains tools to face challenges as a team, through resilience and unity.
For a couple to achieve a long-term and healthy relationship, they need to build a solid foundation based on mutual trust, shared goals, shared values and respect.
The session lasts one hour and individual sessions can be held with each member separately.
